A milestone in the history of AirQon has been achieved: on the 10th of October 2018 we received the European subsidy in Brussels during the European Week of Regions and Cities. It was a thrilling battle and all the hard work of the past months has fallen into place now that UIA (Urban Innovative Actions) gives us the opportunity to scale up this project with a well-deserved contribution.
What now?
With the granting of the subsidy, AirQon will be present more frequently at various events to substitute diesel generators and accomplish reduction in nuisance and air pollution. In 2019, the project will kick-ff as a start of making events more sustainable in Breda and beyond.
